Frontline privacy policy
Last updated 2 August 2026.
This covers the Frontline game specifically. The main privacy policy covers everything else and applies here too.
What Frontline stores
Playing online means having an account, because the world is persistent — your level and your things have to still be there next time. This is the complete list of what is kept on the server:
| What | Why it exists |
|---|---|
| Email address | Identifies your account when you sign in, and is the only way to recover it. Never shown to other players. |
| Username | The name other players see, on the leaderboard and in the game. |
| Password (salted hash) | Confirms it is you. The password itself is not stored and cannot be recovered from what is. |
| Progress | Level, experience, credits, weapons owned and ammunition — so the account means something. |
| Statistics | Kills and deaths, which are what the leaderboard is made of. |
| Team membership | Which team you belong to and your role in it. |
| Position in the world | Where you were, so you resume in the right place. Sent to other players in the match while you are playing, because that is how they hear you. |
What Frontline does not do
- It does not read, list or upload any file on your computer other than its own.
- It does not use your microphone, camera, contacts or location.
- It contains no adverts, no analytics and no third‑party code of any kind.
- It does not ask for your real name, age, address or payment details. In‑game credits are earned by playing and cannot be bought.
What other players can see
Your username, level, kills, deaths, team and in‑game position — the things that make a multiplayer game work. Your email address is never shown to another player, and never appears on the website leaderboard.
Server logs
The server records joins, leaves and errors so problems can be diagnosed and cheating spotted. These entries contain your username and the time. They are not published, and are not used for anything else.
Files kept on your own computer
Frontline saves your settings and sign‑in details next to the game so you are not asked to log in every time.
Two limitations worth knowing
- The sign‑in file stored beside the game is not encrypted. Anyone with access to your computer’s files could read it.
- The connection between the game and the server is not encrypted, unlike this website. On an untrusted network someone could in principle observe that traffic.
Neither is dangerous for a hobby game account, but both are real, so: use a password you do not use for anything important. Both are on the list to fix, and this page will be updated when they are.
Where it is kept and for how long
On a single virtual server hosted with Google Cloud in the United States, in plain data files that no other company has access to. Your account is kept until you ask for it to be deleted. Nothing is retained after that beyond what has already been written to routine server logs, which age out on their own.
Deleting your account
Ask, and your account and everything listed above will be permanently deleted, normally within 30 days. You do not have to give a reason. Your past scores are removed from the leaderboard with it.

Changes
If what Frontline stores ever changes, the date at the top changes, and any change that affects you is announced in the game before it takes effect.
